 Periodic Table of Dinosaurs 22" x 28" The earth’s dinosaurs have fascinated folks the world over since the earliest civilizations, with the uncovered remains often being ascribed to gods, ancient giant races, and mythological beasties. The author compiled a listing of the world’s known dinosaur remains, and matched each chemical symbol to some aspect of a dinosaur’s name. Images of skeletal remains and relevant information were gathered from the Web, and the resulting collage presents an intriguing snapshot of the life forms that ruled the planet for about 200 million years until they became extinct 65 million years ago. There are verbal and visual puns, and a few inside jokes. |
