 Periodic Table of Narcissus Flowers 22" x 28" The serenity of a field of narcissus inspired the author to construct a mosaic of these beautiful flowers with the periodic table as a motif. The artist compiled a listing of recognized breeds of these flowers. He then matched one of the 112 current chemical symbol s to some aspect of each logo. The symbols were gleaned from the internet, and the resulting table provides a most colorful array. There are verbal and visual puns, and a few inside jokes. |
